Sicostirolo® industrial quality polystyrene offers an economic solution for many applications where prime quality would be over-specified.
General info
The Sicostirolo® Polystyrene portfolio includes 2 major groups:
- Industrial quality black and white high impact polystyrene HIPS grades and also industrial quality general purpose polystyrene GPPS
- Flame retardant prime compounds (UL94: V-0)
Processing
Sicostirolo® PS processing
The temperature settings of the injection moulding machine should be at the uniform rate from 180°C to 260°C at the nozzle.
Mould design
Hot runners are not recommended for Sicostirolo® industrial quality grades.
